This is the new lay out for my Amazon tank.I’m using a gravel/laterite mix with sand on top.root tabs and weekly ferts for plants with diy co2. the fish are all in hunting mode for the live food I just gave them.

Some of you may know that one of my main hobbies is keeping tropical fish and in particular some of the many species of Australian rainbows. They must be one of the most underated fish in the hobby. They may often appear dull and colourless in shops but as they mature and get adjusted to their new home they display the most beautiful colours. They are very hardy, peaceful and just stunning fish. In this video you can see some of my Australian rainbows in my aquarium.
